ABOUT HOPE, IDAHO Hope is a North West activity destination you don’t want to miss, with the town located on the shores of Lake Pend Oreille.  You can charter lake cruises or fishing boats and chase after some of the biggest Mackinaw (a lake trout) and Kamloop (a rainbow trout) in the western states.

Boating, hiking, and all sorts of water sports are a main attraction here in Hope along with some historical architecture and an old town feeling of home. 

Hope is northeast around the lake from Sandpoint the closest major city with shopping in world renowned stores like Coldwater Creek, Pend Oreille Winery, Northwest Handmade and shopping on Schweitzer Mountain.
